The Affiliate Program Manager will work with the Affiliate Manager to inform and develop the affiliate strategy. This position will lead the execution of all affiliate strategies and actions and will inform best practices in the affiliate space. This Affiliate Program Manager is responsible for managing a team of affiliate marketers who will execute best-in-class affiliate strategies in support of business units across the enterprise. This position is responsible for the day-to-day contact with our affiliate network contacts and affiliates themselves in order to drive recruitment and optimization of all affiliate relationships and related actions taken to maximize traffic, conversion, sales, and ROAS while staying within budgets. Coordinating closely with other marketing programs and merchandising teams, the Affiliate program manager ensures Cabela’s has a growing and healthy list of active affiliates across the data feed, coupon, loyalty and content affiliates.
The Program Manager works closely with cross functional departments to ensure affiliates have all tools necessary to maximize visibility of Cabela’s within their sites and are delivering maximum profitable traffic to the Cabela’s network. Building and communicating regular reporting of program specific KPI’s and representing Affiliates in omni, category, merchandising and digital commerce planning is critical to success. This Program Manager works closely with other marketing and merchandising teams including Digital Commerce, Brand Marketing, Retail Marketing and more. This position is deeply involved in the day to day relationships with agency partners for delivery of affiliate specific activities and ensures best-in-class performance for share of voice, traffic, conversion, sales, ROAS and related performance metrics.
Execute against and inform the affiliate strategy, coordinating with stakeholders across all channels of Cabela’s to ensure its effectiveness and maximizing active affiliate coverage, share of voice, traffic, conversion and sales figures as well as ROAS and related metrics.
Build affiliate campaigns and compensation strategies and other day-to-day activates including affiliate recruitment, relationship building, campaign building, landing page and commission optimization, as well as monitoring spend and performance levels relative to budgets and expected KPI’s.
Work with all other marketing teams to ensure affiliate programs are fully integrated with all related marketing campaigns to drive maximum ROAS and related traffic, conversion and sales performance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Monitor and communicate performance against effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of affiliates. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of activity in an effort to maximize results.
Bachelor’s degree with 4-6+ years of experience
Experience managing affiliate programs in Ecommerce specific businesses for multi-channel retailers with product catalogs in excess of 50K products. Experience building and running affiliate campaigns with main affiliate networks like Commission Junction, Link Share, Avantlink etc. Experience directly recruiting and developing direct affiliate relationships. Knowledge of the interaction between merchandising and digital marketing.
